People in Namibia's slums:

My Aids infected hostess in Katutura

When I shared this bed with Elina in the slums of Windhoek for a couple of days I did not ask her if she was HIV-positive. I didn't need to since I went with her to the Aids clinic every day to get medical care and food for her HIV-positive 2-year old daughter.
There were so many other things to worry about in this crime ridden neighborhood that Aids was the last thing in our minds.
