Agnes and the wrath of God



Agnes, whom I lived with in the worst slum of Namibia, Katutura, in Windhoek. In her quiet photographic beauty she was an unusually soft human being without any sexual aggression towards me which is an advantage when you have to sleep so close to each other. Our bed took up the entire room and there were holes in the sheet metal walls as large as footballs.
