When I lived with a dirt eating family on the muddy dirt roads on Meridians north eastern side I had to pass these shotgun shacks. The name comes from the fact that you can shoot through every room in one shot. For the poor they correspond to the trailers of today. The place where I took the photo is today a shopping mall.
