GHETTO LOVE - 00041
GHETTO LOVE - 00041
When I married my ex-wife Annie Rush Holdt we got robbed of all her money and ended up living in the worst part of the Tenderloin ghetto in a building with pimps and prostitutes. With no money to break out we felt ghettoized – mentally and physically. We had agreed that I should take her out of America which she hated ever since her abused and miserable childhood in Mississippi described in detail in my book. Both her mother and stepfather were murdered half a year apart. Here she is in our bathtub about 11 months before we escaped to Denmark, where we together wrote the chapter “Ghetto love” about our failed marriage in my book. She died in 2001. - - - 340 Eddy St, Apt. 505, San Francisco, CA – January 1975
